Bruce Douglas (2nd Horn)

Awaiting History

Bruce is a mine of information, and brings at least three novels to rehearsal, many biographical or historical, much to the chagrin of Musical Director Simon Griffiths, as Bruce tends to read said novels during rehearsals and when Simon is trying to get us all to listen! He also seems to be a prolific note taker and has many journals at his feet at any one time, whilst trying to aerate his horn by turning it many times because he claims the relief valves don't do the job! He is also very protective over his mouthpiece and places it in his pocket in between pieces to "keep it warm"! Bruce is a proud Scotsman and has yet to divulge his veritable history.
