Barbara Roberts (Tea & Yummy Biscuits)

Barbara joined at the same time as her husband, Head Tutor of our junior band Les (Mr Les) Roberts. Turning up on a Tuesday night to rehearse is pretty incidental. Waiting for 8pm and Barbara's tea and yummy biscuits is another thing entirely.

Although we are sure that Barbara would frown at the term "Groupie", wherever Whitchurch Band is, you can be sure that Barbara will be there, dealing with a prize draw or making sure that Mr Les has his cushion to sit on!

As for her yummy biscuits, there has recently been the introduction of more "European", chocolately chocolate biscuits on offer. The only problem, apart from more biscuits to eat, is that they tend to melt on the saucer next to the yummy tea! God, life is hard!

Suffice to say that rehearsals wouldn't be the same without Barbara and her devotion to Whitchurch band. She enjoys her own retirement with her husband and their grandchildren.
