Lindsey Wilkes (Solo Horn)

Lindsey joined the band in 2006. She has an impressive musical heritage, having played for the award-winning Roberts Bakery Band on Baritone. Before this, having started to play at the age of 13, she had stints with The Lions Youth Band in Crewe and the Brine Leas School Band, as well as playing with a ten piece band based in Crewe.

Lindsey never fails to arrive at rehearsals and functions without a smile on her face, and quickly introduced the band to the term "Mucky Beer"! She certainly likes to party, placing this pastime at the top of her list! Only joking. She does enjoy history, architecture, walking, jet skiing and camping, (so it said on her member history form!!)

Lindsey lives locally, is married, and is a proud mum to Mia, who has just started to play the cornet. Between them they are driving Lindsey's long suffering husband Paul up the wall!

As well as enjoying the odd "Mucky Beer", Lindsey is a successful graphic designer who produces the band's newsletter, "The Hornblower". She is also the Booking Secretary.
