Trevor Griffiths (Drums)
Trevor joined the band in 2006 as a temporary stand-in for the injured Kate Pate. Following further surgery Kate decided to retire and Trevor became a permanent member of the band after an impassioned plea from his brother, Musical Director Simon.
As well as being employed as part of the Operational staff at Ellesmere College, an 8-18 year old Co-educational school, Trevor is also an Incident Commander with Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service, where he has served for the last 13 years.
As well as playing the drums, Trevor's other instruments include playing the self-taught guitar, and his pastimes include compiling quizzes and F1, although his passion is writing, especially poetry, and he has had six anthologies published to date and is at present in excited talks with legendary publishing house Faber & Faber with a view to securing a contract. Details of Trevor's published works (ISBN numbers) are available from his publishers or through Trevor direct: j-tgriffiths @ tiscali.co.uk (remove spaces for security/spam reasons)
Trevor is 43 years old and has been married to Jayne for 5 years. He has three children, Jessica 17, Jack 13 and Joseph 11 and lives in Whitchurch.
